The expo is being organized by the Trade Fairs and Conferences Association of Bangladesh (TRACAB) under the slogan “Healthy Animals, Prosperous Nation.”

The expo will be held from January 8 to 10 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) with the patronage of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock.

The organizers shared this information at a press conference held on Monday at the National Press Club. In a written statement, Organizing Committee Chairman Dr. Mohammad Rashedul Alam said that institutions from 14 countries, including China, India, Germany, Turkey, and Vietnam, are participating in this year’s expo from the animal health and fisheries sectors. The event is expected to create new opportunities for international trade, technology exchange, and investment cooperation. The expo will feature approximately 128 local and foreign stalls and 65 international representatives.

Leading companies and institutions from Bangladesh’s fisheries and livestock sectors will also showcase their products and services. According to the organizers, the expo will help strengthen food security and support the development of a robust, export-oriented industry.

Dr. Mohammad Rashedul Alam further said that the expo will contribute to enhancing food security and building a strong export-focused industry, while also playing an important role in research, technology transfer, and skilled human resource development.

The press conference also revealed that the expo will include live demonstrations, technology exhibitions, seminars, and B2B meetings, which will benefit entrepreneurs, researchers, students, and professionals.
